Working for Death

A Push. A Shove. A press of a button. A nerve being stretched and pulled, threatening to snap. Carl, a janitor at a local hospital, finds himself at the edge of a metaphorical cliff, where the jagged rocks below signal the point of no return. And Jonathan, his younger supervisor, is practically breathing down his neck, egging him on, acting as if everyone beneath him is like shit on his shoes, worthless and disgusting. With every little jab, with every little comment, Carl is tiptoeing closer to that edge, and it won’t be long until he is pushed too far.
